Van Damme TourCat Cat 7 S/FTP with a solid conductor (solid conductor) is a cable with a polyurethane jacket (PUR) with „wire”-type strands having a diameter of 0.56 mm. The design features individually shielded pairs and a common shield in the form of a braided shield with 80 percent coverage. The cable is suitable for data transmission at Gigabit and 100 Mbit speeds, as well as for digital audio and video transmission based on the Ethernet protocol.
