Marian Audio Seraph M2

The Madi sound card is the perfect way to transmit and receive a very large number of audio channels using just a few cables.

The Marian Audio Seraph M2 is a sound card that supports up to 256 channels, features integrated clock synchronization, and ensures stable long-distance connections at sampling rates up to 384 kHz with minimal transmission latency — all these benefits are now available with the Seraph M2 at an astonishingly low price. In addition, the Seraph M2 is available in two versions: with SC optical connectors (M2-F) or BNC coaxial connectors (M2).

Compatible with all MADI formats up to 384 kHz

Both versions of the Seraph M2 feature two MADI inputs and outputs, supporting different numbers of transmission channels depending on the sample rate. It is possible to achieve 224 or 256 channels at sampling rates up to 48 kHz, depending on the connected device. By default, each doubling of the sampling rate reduces the number of channels by half. At a sampling rate of 384 kHz, it is possible to transmit 32 high-quality audio signals.

Advanced synchronization and MIDI capabilities via MADI

With the optional MWX Extender, the Seraph M2 and M2-F can be expanded to include a word clock output. This allows external digital devices to be synchronized via the audio system independently of MADI connections. In addition, the MWX Extender features two MIDI inputs and outputs. Finally, MIDI signals can be embedded in the MADI signal via a DAW, allowing them to be transmitted over long distances.

Real-time routing and control at the hardware level

The user-friendly interface allows for simple, latency-free routing of up to 128 input signals to various outputs, as well as volume control. It is part of a comprehensive driver package optimized for Windows systems and minimal latency in any ASIO DAW.
