As early as April 23, 2025, we will meet with you in the Music Store in Poznan, where we will hold a Commercial Audio Workshop - Music Production, using SSL interfaces. But don't let the name fool you, because we'll be using a lot more of Solid State Logic's excellent equipment during the class. In addition to the well-known SSL controllers UC1, UF1, UF8, mixers SiX i BiGSiX, processors Fusion i Bus+, PureDrive preamps Quad i Octo and interfaces 2 i 2+ MKII will be able to test the latest devices from the manufacturer's portfolio - the first rack-mounted interface SSL 18 and AD/DA converter ALPHA 8.

Together with workshop leader Sylwester Golachowski, we will look at the product line of SSL interfaces - from compact models for beginners to professional solutions for demanding users. What features really matter and how to choose the right hardware for your needs? An indispensable part of the SSL ecosystem is SSL 360 software, which makes music production more intuitive and efficient. Less switching between programs, more creativity - a real Swiss Army Knife for music producers! We will learn how to take care of proper listening control during the mix. We'll discuss how to conveniently check mixes on different monitors and headphones, and whether a smartphone can help calibrate a listening system.

We will also touch on the latest trends in music production or hybrid workflows, where external analog processors can completely change a producer's workflow. Using the example of the Ableton Live DAW and SSL FUSION and BiG SiX devices, we will show how to step into a hybrid workflow, combining digital flexibility with analog sound character. At the end of the workshop we will move into the world of DUB-inspired mixing techniques! Using the BiG SiX mixer, we will discover how to create spatial effects and dub sounds, so that everyone will leave the workshop with a wide smile and a head buzzing with dub vibes.
