What has changed?

AD/DA conversion

SSL2 and 2+ MKII usb audio interfaces operate at a sampling rate of 192kHz with a bit resolution of 32bit! This means the highest quality processing of the signals that go in and out of your audio interface!

Headphone outputs

The SSL2 MKII has two headphone outputs so that you can work seamlessly with other musicians without the need for an additional headphone amplifier. If you want to create listening mixes independently and have independent volume control for both headphone outputs, choose the SSL2+ MKII.

Microphone preamps

Both interfaces are equipped with two high-end preamps, providing as much as 64dB of gain and a dynamic range of up to 116.5dB. This allows you to precisely drive any sound source while maintaining maximum dynamic range, all to record the finest nuance without worrying about overdrive or unwanted noise.

Line inputs

Compatible with all instruments, the combo inputs on SSL usb audio interfaces provide input levels as high as +24dBu and a dynamic range of 117dB.

Instrumental inputs

High-impedance line inputs with auto-detection dedicated to recording guitar or bass provide great saturation resulting in a true race and rich sound.

Headphone amplifier

The high-current headphone amplifiers are capable of handling any type of professional studio headphones, providing a dynamic range of 119.5dB ( 111dB in the previous version). Therefore, not only what goes into the interface but also what comes out of it will sound phenomenal.

Line outputs

Now your monitors will sound even better thanks to the line outputs, whose dynamic range reaches up to 120dB.
