Acoustic analysis

3D modeling, design and acoustic analysis are the main tasks of Bose Professional Modeler software, which helps system designers and acoustic consultants predict the performance of a sound system both indoors and outdoors. From places of worship and multi-purpose spaces to hospitality facilities, stadiums, auditoriums and more.

Advanced software algorithms predict the acoustic performance of a space, including direct and reflected energy and speech transmission index (STI). Designers can quickly iterate using Modeler's proprietary computational pipeline, allowing them to try different speaker configurations and placement for optimal coverage, SPL and intelligibility.

The modeler also has an import function - for easy translation of model data from standard CAD software - and an acoustic matching function that matches the acoustic parameters of the model to the actual room. Matrix building tools also help automate the creation and placement of complex loudspeaker arrays.

The latest version of Modeler combines previous versions - Modeler Standard and Modeler Plus - and removes the requirement for a security key, giving a wider range of designers, even students, the freedom to create accurate and attractive sound system designs.
