UF1 Your control center for DAW programs

UF1 is the best single fader controller available on the market. Ideal for comprehensive control of DAW programs. The UF1 studio controller provides advanced features useful for in-the-box productions. The UF1 features a high-quality 100mm motorized fader, two high-resolution displays, soft, durable rubber keys and a convenient jog „wheel.” All this is enclosed in a robust metal housing. The UF1 offers full control over DAW panning, AUX/BUS sends, plug-in control and more! It offers customizable 46 programmable buttons perfectly matching your way of working! The SSL UF1 also provides clear and comprehensive visual feedback, intuitive control and deep integration with the SSL Meter plug-in and SSL 360° software. One device for controlling your studio

The UF1 can control up to 3 DAW programs simultaneously. It comes with profiles for Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Studio One, Ableton Live, LUNA and Pyramix applications. Dedicated transport keys and a weighted jog/scrub knob make moving through even the largest session fast and convenient. Additional transport keys can be individually assigned to shortcuts essential to your workflow, such as Loop on/off or click track on/off. The Shift button, allows quick access to automation modes in the DAW. The SSL's high-end motorized 100mm fader provides precise control during automation editing and, of course, accurate track volume settings during recording and mixing sessions.
The dual high-resolution displays that the UF1 is equipped with provide clear, visual information about DAW track names, necessary parameters, time, SSL Meter plug-in and channel strips from SSL 360° software. With SSL UF1 you can control SSL Channel Strip plug-ins directly from its surface. The operation of the dynamics; gate and compression sections can also be seen on the small display. The UF1's large, multi-functional step encoder allows you to group channels, emulate a mouse wheel (Focus mode) and control system volume.

New meter plugin and integration with SSL 360° software

In addition to comprehensive DAW control, the UF1 includes an unlimited license for the SSL Meter plug-in (valued at €99.99), which is displayed on a large 4.3-inch IPS screen and can be controlled directly from its SSL 360° plug-in mixer surface. The SSL Meter plug-in offers essential measurement tools, including Peak and RMS levels, K-System, stereo balance, phase correlation bar, Lissajous phase range, 31-band RTA, VU and PPM measurement.

Extend UF1 with SSL UC1 and UF8 controllers

The UF1 can be used alone or in conjunction with the UF8 for more complete control in DAW programs. The UF1 is also an ideal hardware extension for the SSL UC1 plug-in controller, adding fader functionality and providing easy access to SSL 360° channel strip parameters along with full access to EQ filters.
SSL provides the ability to connect up to four UF8 controllers with UC1 and UF1.
