HARRISON AUDIO 32CPRE+
Harrison Audio 32Cpre+ 500 Series
Microphone preamp - 500 series module
The Harrison Audio 32Cpre+ takes the transformer-coupled high-gain microphone preamp from the 32Classic studio console, combines it with the famous Harrison LP/HP filters, and encapsulates it in a 500-series format module. Inspired by the iconic Harrison 3232, the 32Classic mixing console and preamp is an American icon in a new guise, providing the sound that helped create some of the most iconic albums of the 1970s and 1980s. With the 32Cpre+, the Harrison sound is now available in a 500-series format.
The 32Cpre+ provides smooth gain from +20 to +70 dB, capable of handling a wide range of microphone types, including ribbon microphones. In addition to 180° Phase, 48V, -20 pad and HiZ impedance switches, the front panel features an XLR combo jack with ¼" jack connector, which allows you to connect a microphone or instrument directly to the 32Cpre+ without having to access the rear panel of the 500 Series rack.
Legendary Harrison Filters
A Harrison microphone preamplifier would not be complete without the legendary Harrison filters. As in the original 3232 and the latest 32Classic console, the filters have a slope of 12 dB/octave, and the high-pass filter has a characteristic resonant peak of 3 dB. The range of the high-pass filter is 25 Hz - 3.1 kHz, and the low-pass filter is 160 Hz - 20 kHz.
