HARRISON AUDIO 32C
Harrison Audio C32
American icon in new incarnation
Designed and engineered by Harrison Audio, the 32Classic console is the pinnacle of technological advances that have been underpinned for decades by a process of continuous research-based learning. Crafted with passion and the utmost precision, it is sure to become an iconic part of Harrison's legacy.
For the past 50 years, Harrison's production tools have supported world-renowned artists in the creation of some of the most recognizable and acclaimed tracks in music history. The 32Classic draws on this heritage and our experience in designing analog consoles, combining them with modern studio technology and providing artists, producers and sound engineers with the means needed to record and mix music that will stand the test of time. The Harrison 32Classic is an analog masterpiece that, if you let it, will help you create your own.
Key features
High-performance design - 32Classic meets all the key criteria for high-end designs. Double-sided PCBs, hand-assembled PCB techniques for precise track placement and efficient ground layout, gold-coated switches, potentiometers with plastic resistance path, and summing rails routed through PCBs (without the use of ribbon cables) collectively guarantee the highest possible performance that an analog console can feature.
Mono microphone/line channels - The standard configuration consists of 32 mono microphone/linear channels (custom configurations are available upon request), and each is equipped with a high-quality Harrison microphone preamplifier and a Harrison 32C four-band parametric equalizer with adjustable HP and LP filters.
DAW compatible frame - The 32Classic frame is a robust and thoroughly thought-out design. It was designed to solve the simplest, albeit annoying, ergonomic problems we encounter in a studio environment. „Where to put the keyboard and mouse or trackball?” and „Where to position the computer monitor(s)?” The 32Classic solves these dilemmas with a two-level armrest, wide and deep enough to comfortably place a DAW keyboard and mouse/trackball (with convenient cable routing), as well as a cell phone, laptop, tablet, etc. The „back shelf” design makes it ideal for placing TFT screens and/or small near-field monitors.
Configurations - The 32Classic is available in two configurations, covering 32 and 48 channels. Custom configurations are available upon request.
In this video, journalist Frank Wells and Harrison Audio president Gary Thielman talk about Harrison's incredible history, from its roots in Music City and the creation of the line console to the launch of the 32Classic console and how it represents the beginning of a new era of Harrison production tools.
Flexibility counts

The 32Classic features a flexible bus and routing architecture. Each channel can be routed to any of the 8 main bus channels, which can operate in mono or stereo configuration, to any of the 5 auxiliary buses (4 mono and 1 stereo), or directly to the stereo Main Mix bus with symmetrical transformers. The 32Classic also offers an „In-Line” recording mode, which allows the signal from the input source to be fed directly into the DAW, with a separate „Playback” track for listening via headphones and/or studio monitors via an alternative flexible output matrix. All external routing is done via Harrison's large-format Dante / AD DA interface system, an integral part of the 32Classic console, making recording, crossover and routing signals in the studio a breeze.
Classic console:
The classic Harrison sound is at the heart of the 32Classic console. No matter what you look at, whether it's the surgically precise but smoothly operating equalization, the Jensen JT-MB-CPCA input transformers or the classic VU meters, the 32Classic gives the session a distinctive vibe and allows you to evoke the spirit of the golden era of the recording industry.
