SSL Duality is a precision music creation tool designed for recording and production studios. Duality Fuse is a large-format analog studio console with an architecture similar to classic tables SSL 4000 and 9000 series. Its huge worldwide success is undoubtedly due to the combination of the analog world with today's sound recording technology. The world's greatest engineers praise SSL Duality for its speed and ergonomics and, above all, for its superior sound quality.
The SSL Duality Fuse console comes in various configurations that differ in the number of channels. The smallest available configuration is 24 channels. The larger model is a 48-channel version and another 72 channels and 96 channels. The DUALITY console was introduced to the market in 2008 and has since become a kind of standard in large recording studios. It is a professional recording and production table that combines classic technology SSL SuperAnalogue™ With comprehensive DAW control in one.
SSL SuperAnalogue Technology
The concept of SuperAnalogue is a project developed by the crew at Solid State Logic (SSL). It focuses on the combination of modern audio assembly techniques and pristine sound. The first console built based on SuperAnalogue tracks was the 9000 series, which is still known and respected around the world today, and the model SL 9000 J from the 1990s. SuperAnalogue technology features both an extremely clear audio path with ultra-wide frequency response and low distortion. What's more, noise is almost unmeasurable. The domain of this technology is to carry a bandwidth greater than 192 kHz and a dynamic range that goes beyond 24 bits. Duality Delta is a continuation of the well-established standard in the studio world that is SSL for recordings and productions that demand the highest quality. That's why SuperAnalogue technology is the answer to why the sound quality of SSL tables is so mind-blowing.
SSL VHD (Variable Harmonic Drive) Preamp.
Each channel of the Duality console features a SuperAnalogue ™ microphone preamplifier and an additional Variable Harmonic Drive (VHD) preamplifier. VHD Pre is a patented SSL preamplifier design that can deliver ultra-clean SSL-grade recordings, but also has a VHD circuit that can be incorporated into the signal path. The Variable Harmonic Drive circuit uses the 100%'s analog signal path to generate rich harmonic distortion. As the input gain increases, the circuit introduces second or third harmonic distortion or a combination of both into the source material. In addition, at lower gain settings, VHD adds subtle warmth. As gain increases, signal distortion becomes more extreme. Therefore, SSL VHD preamps give the user the highest possible studio-grade versatility. Whether it's an ultra-clean traditional SSL circuit, a subtly warmed or completely distorted signal, VHD will undeniably change your expectations of what a preamp should deliver.
Delta-Control Plug-in for SSL Duality consoles
Native tool in AAX/AU/VST/VST3 format for controlling Duality Delta console channels from within a DAW program (ProTools).
The automation system in the DAW is used to record and playback control data from faders and switches on the console. The Delta-Ctrl plug-in runs on the audio channel of the DAW mixer. It receives and sends console control data from and to both the assigned Duality channel and the VCA or master fader via Ethernet.
Automation data can be viewed and edited in normal data in a DAW program. Attenuator values are saved using the same dB formula as in Pro Tools, so for easier copying of existing settings in Pro Tools, the COPY, Paste functions can be used. What's more, the Delta-Ctrl plug-in additionally saves all key operational elements of the SSL Duality System's Signature Mix.

Stereo Bus Compressor
Stereo Bus Compressor in the center section is the legendary G-Series Compressor, which has helped mix many of the world's hits for top sound engineers. What's more, the SSL Bus Compressor in the Duality console works in stereo or 5.1 format.

Summing buses and CUE and FX dispatches
To accommodate modern production methods, the Duality console has an independent summing input that allows you to add tracks from your DAW to the CUE and FX Send buses.
Flexible routing
Three independent stereo mix buses and 24 track buses for flexible routing. Routing in the SSL Duality console is carefully thought out and offers great opportunities for creativity during operation.
Classic signal processing circuit in each track of the console
In each track of the Duality console, we have an available 4-band equalizer with low and high-pass filters, and SSL Dynamics compressors equipped with separate Dynamic, Gate and Expander sections.
TotalRecall function
Duality Delta, like its 4000 and 9000 series predecessors, features a function to save settings and restore them from other sessions.
The Total Recall function automatically restores most of the table settings such as; faders, Cue, FX, EQ, Cut and Insert channel switches, BUS send settings, etc. in a simple and friendly way. The analog section (EQ, Dynamic, Intput, CHOP, FX) stores its setting in memory and marks the change (yellow border) we need to make. The system takes a snapshot of the current console settings and saves it using SSL Remote software available for PC and MAC.

VINTAGE DRIVE
The Vintage Drive is certainly a unique non-linear harmonic equalization circuit that gives consistency and power to the mix. Knobs DRIVE i DENSITY adjust harmonic saturation and soft compression, so better effects can be achieved. Better effects, that is, subtle saturation, thickened sound or extremely distorted sound.
SSL VIOLET EQ
The new processor per group and sum also includes an all-new phase-shifted two-phase semi-electric equalizer. This is the first new equalizer from SSL in more than 25 years. SSL has used experience to create a musical and intuitive EQ. What's more, each of the high and low frequency filters offers four switchable frequency points and +/- 9 dB attenuation.
HIGH FREQUENCY COMPRESSOR
It provides a distinctive high-frequency sound with a rounded analog sound. What's more, it is optimized for smooth and transparent reduction of hardness and tape saturation effect.
Stereo Image is a true analog mid-side circuit that manipulates the signal Side, allowing the stereo field to be expanded and spatially manipulated.
STEREO IMAGE
Analog circuit Mid-Side allows manipulation of the signal within the stereo field extension and depth of the group or sum sound.
SSL TRANSFORMER
The processor on the SSL group and sum introduces a subtle saturation of the low frequencies and a phase shift for the high frequencies. Therefore, the result is a simultaneous thickening of the low-end and additional brilliance of the high-end.
