RELIABLE MULTI-TRACK RECORDING

Harrison LiveTrax is software developed by sound engineers for sound engineers, LiveTrax is powerful multi-track recording and virtual rehearsal software that integrates with Allen&Heath consoles. LiveTrax is designed for recording live performances, from small intimate events to concerts and large-scale productions. It focuses on the basic tools required for fast and reliable recording without unnecessary complications. Its user-friendly interface is easy to use for podcasters, soloists, bands or large orchestras alike.
Integration with Allen & Heath
By integrating with Allen & Heath consoles, LiveTrax retains key DAW functions when working live, enabling stable concert recording. When paired with an Allen & Heath console, LiveTrax can create markers when loading a mixer scene, call out scenes during a virtual sound check, synchronize track names and execute transport commands from the console.
Fine-tune your mix before the show
In addition, LiveTrax displays input level meters before creating a track, providing full visibility of input signals before recording. Quickly switch between „Multi Out” (consecutive multi-track playback) and „Stereo Out” modes for quick virtual sound checks. LiveTrax is the ultimate tool for sound engineers to fine-tune the mix before the performance begins.
Map it your way
LiveTrax also functions as a simplified digital „tape recorder,” ideal for recording all kinds of live productions, band rehearsals and even podcast sessions. The marker function facilitates simple mapping of setlists, song structures or memory locations, which can be easily „dragged and dropped” for later convenience.
Simplified, essential tools
To guarantee stable recording, Harrison has included a number of useful tools, such as a variable-sized „big clock” and a dedicated Meterbridge window with large gauges and track arm indicators, so you can monitor whether LiveTrax is actively recording. In addition, CPU usage, disk I/O and remaining recording time can be tracked. Direct recording to FLAC format is also available, saving up to 50% of disk space compared to WAV files. Finally, a „System Lock” function is available to prevent unintentional key presses during recording.
Easy export to Mixbus 10
LiveTrax offers an unlimited number of recording tracks. After the concert, sessions can be easily imported into Harrison's Mixbus DAW for advanced editing, mixing and mastering. Sessions created in Waves Tracks Live can also be opened directly through LiveTrax.
Ultimate versatility
For ultimate versatility, LiveTrax can synchronize time code and transport control via LTC/SMPTE, MTC, MMC. (Advanced chase functions are available for large systems with multiple synchronization sources). LiveTrax supports many remote control console protocols, such as OSC, Mackie and others.
