SSL Madi Opti-Coax audio equipment is a handy format converter designed to convert 64 channels of audio. This can be done bi-directionally (64-IN and 64-OUT) between coaxial and optical MADI formats. The front panel features both one set of optical MADI SC inputs and outputs and one set of coaxial MADI BNC inputs and outputs.

Conversion of MADI digital signals is done in real time not only without delay, but also without degradation of sound quality. In addition to simply converting the MADI format, Opti Coax can be used to extend the cable range from 50m for the MADI Coax format.
