The ATC SCM25A Pro Mk2 is a highly efficient, compact, 3-way active studio loudspeaker, built around a 6.5" woofer housed in a 25-liter vented enclosure. The combination of exceptional mid-frequency precision, high power handling, extended low frequency response and compact size makes the monitor ideal for close-field listening in the most demanding applications.

This 3-way studio monitor uses unique drivers designed and manufactured by ATC. A 6.5 "bass driver is responsible for the low frequencies below 380Hz, while the midrange between 380Hz and 3.5kHz is entrusted to a 3" soft-dome driver. High frequencies above 3.5kHz are handled by a 1" ATC SH25-76S Dual-Suspension soft-dome driver. The improved HF driver is a major improvement over the Mk1 model. The bass reflex enclosure, is tuned to 32Hz and features a 3" diameter port with an extended input and output to minimize port air noise.

The SCM25A Pro Mk2 is actively driven by a 3-channel Class A/B amplifier mounted in the rear of the cabinet. Each driver has its own dedicated power amplifier. Audio input is realized on a 3-pin female XLR socket mounted on the rear panel, while power is an IEC mains socket. The user can adjust the input sensitivity and lower band boost. The Linkwitz-Riley fourth-order crossovers and all-pass filters used optimize phase response at the dividing points, improving tonal accuracy, stereo imaging and both on- and off-axis frequency response. The SCM25 listening monitors use FET limiters to reduce hard-clipping. Power on and active limiter are indicated by a two-color LED on the front panel.
