Marian Audio Clara D

AES/EBU sound card is a solution for lossless recording and playback of audio signals.

Marian Audio Clara D is a 16-channel sound card that is the perfect entry point for digital audio processing. HD audio quality with 24-bit resolution and 192kHz sampling rate guarantees pristine sound. High-quality drivers provide flexible clock management while maintaining a full dynamic range of up to 144dB.

Precise clock

The internal clocking of the Clara sound system has an amazingly low jitter of less than one nanosecond. This benefits the sound quality of the system and any connected digital device. Often, the Clara D clock is many times more precise than the internal clock of the connected device, making it unnecessary to purchase a separate clock generator.

Switchable sample rate converter (SRC)

SRCs, which can be enabled via software, allow any digital input signal to be fed into the sound system, regardless of sample rate and clock settings. In this way, even without separate sync lines, any digital devices can be connected effortlessly.

Real-time routing, mixing and equalization

Each input signal of the sound system can be adjusted in volume and routed without delay to any output. The BEAST DSP mixer also sums up to 64 signals to 8 different buses and plays them to any number of outputs without delay. What's more, the BEAST mixer adds playback signals from any DAW program. There are 4 parametric equalizers for audio processing on each channel of the BEAST mixer.

Optional extensions

If several Clara D devices are installed in a single computer, they are synchronized via the TDM SyncBus and displayed in the ASIO application as a combined sound system. Up to 32 audio signals can be exchanged with other Clara sound systems in the Beast Mixer, thus integrating them with ASIO.
