Clear-Com Encore CS-702 two-channel central station

Clear-Com Encore® is an analog 2-wire partyline system with intuitive plug-and-play design and superior "Clear-Com Sound" sound quality.

The CS-702 is a 2-channel compact master station that allows you to monitor intercom activity on one or both channels with individual Listen Level controls. Monitoring of intercom activity is possible via a headset, external handset or speakerphone. The CS-702 supports up to 55 beltpacks or 7 speaker stations.

Talk Section

The CS-702 includes a microphone preamplifier with limiter and proprietary speech shaping circuitry. An individual electronic, momentary/latching Talk button is provided for each channel, the illumination of which dims when in latch mode.

Call signaling

The CS-702 has individual Call buttons for each channel, allowing it to send signaling to all stations on the channel(s) in question. When a remote station operator sends a Call signal, the associated Talk button on the CS-702 lights up brightly, attracting the attention of the operator who has taken off his headset or turned off the speaker. The sidetone level can be adjusted individually for each channel .

Remote Mic Kill (RMK)

Pressing the Remote Mic Kill button will turn off the active Talk function on all beltpacks, eliminating noise from active headphones.

Program input

The CS-702 has a symmetrical microphone or line level program signal for monitoring with a headset and/or mixing it with intercom audio on one or both channels. The front panel features a Program Monitor volume control and individual Program Send level controls. In addition, the CS-702 also has a Program Send on/off/interrupt switch for each channel.
When interrupt is selected, the program sound is muted when the Talk button is pressed.

Power supply

The CS-702 has a visual indication of power status. In the event of a short circuit or current overload, the CS-702's electronic overload protection circuit will shut down the output to avoid damage. Once the fault is cleared, the automatic reset circuit automatically restores power to the system, even under full load conditions. There is no need to disconnect the station to allow the power supply to reset.
