Clear-Com Encore RS-702 two-channel wired beltpack

Clear-Com Encore® is an analog 2-wire partyline system with intuitive plug-and-play design and superior "Clear-Com Sound" sound quality.

The Clear-Com Encore RS-702 is a two-channel analog 2-wire beltpack that, while being part of a system, carries power and audio through an XLR-6 line connector. The beltpack offers high headroom, low noise and distinctive sound ("Clear-Com Sound") to ensure the highest quality communication.

Support

The RS-702 has LEDs on the top of the case for visual indication of incoming and outgoing calls. A microphone preamplifier provides intelligible voice communication at any volume level. Built-in rotary volume controls and Call and Talk buttons are designed to minimize the possibility of accidental activation. The RS-702 features low power consumption, allowing the use of more beltpacks in a chain In addition, knob level control is available for Program In.

DIP switches and LEDs

A hidden panel of DIP switches on the back of the beltpack allows quick and easy selection of audio options and key functions. The DIP switches can control functions such as switching between electret or dynamic headset, setting the level for headphone output, adjusting volume settings, turning LED signaling on or off, Call on Talk or Talk key latch for channel A, Call on Talk or Talk key latch for channel B, minimum volume setting for channel B. A green LED indicates that the beltpack is powered, and a green LED on the Talk key indicates that the microphone is active (latched). An amber LED indicates a call signal on the channel.

Improved design

Sturdy and handy, the RS-702 enclosure follows the design of previous beltpacks in the RS-500 series. A mounting clip allows for various uses of the beltpack; users can clip it to a belt or lanyard, or mount it to a wall, pole or desk for permanent installations.

Compliance

The RS-702 is compatible with all Encore partyline products, as well as the PL-Pro line and other partyline systems through Encore interfaces.
