Solid State Logic CONNEX is a USB microphone with advanced technology encased in a sleek, compact design. A high-quality, high-precision four-microphone array works together with a sophisticated studio-grade sound processor.

With SSL CONNEX, you can choose from four modes to get the best results in any situation. What's more, the advanced immersive mode allows creatives to push the boundaries of creativity.

The USB microphone from SSL has several modes for different applications:

White: Solo mode

Optimized for use with a single sound source. Focuses on the signal coming from the front of the device while reducing unwanted noise coming from the rear and side. It is perfect for remote work, conference calls or live broadcasts with a single presenter. This mode is the best choice if you want a clear voice during calls in a crowded office, coffee shop or airport waiting room.

Green: Group mode:

Designed for multi-source audio applications. Great for conferences or live broadcasts with multiple participants. The CONNEX four-microphone array and intelligent auto-mixer ensure that all presenters are clearly heard and background noise is effectively eliminated.

Magenta: Vocal mode:

This mode will allow you to quickly and easily record vocal parts and get the best recording quality. Similar to „White: Solo mode,” Magenta is optimized to work with a single sound source. In the same way, it eliminates unwanted noise coming from the back and sides of the device, focusing on the signal coming from the front. However, to meet the demands of vocalists, Magenta mode is adapted to work with high sound levels. As a result, CONNEX will allow you to record brilliant-sounding vocals.

Blue: Music mode:

Designed for a group of musicians arranged around CONNEX. It will allow you to naturally capture the unique sound and unmistakable energy when playing together. CONNEX intelligently changes the sensitivity of a set of microphones to reduce noise and unwanted background sounds during recording or live broadcasts. Add the CONNEX studio-quality sound processor and you're on your way to a great-sounding recording.

Immersive:

All four modes offer advanced immersive recording settings. Access to the individual parameters of each of the four microphones will be ideal for immersive and spatial recordings or broadcasts.
