Clear-Com FreeSpeak Edge FSE-BP50 wireless beltpack

FreeSpeak Edge® is a multi-channel, duplex digital wireless
an intercom system operating in the 5 GHz band that is part of the FreeSpeak® family of products.

The FSE-BP50 is a rugged, waterproof, multi-channel beltpack that operates in the ISM license-free 5 GHz band. Combined with a dedicated modulation scheme using signal reflection and multipath, it provides low latency, best-in-class audio with a frequency range of up to 12 kHz and data transmission. This makes it the perfect solution for wireless communications in crowded environments. The Beltpack features an ergonomic design with nine programmable buttons, a large color screen, dedicated A and B encoders, individual level controls for C and D, master volume control, built-in microphone and hands-free mode.

Action

FreeSpeak Edge beltpacks can be managed by the FreeSpeak Edge Base Station, Arcadia® Central Station and Eclipse® HX digital matrix. Each communicates with the FSE-BP50 via the FSE-TCVR-50-IP antenna.
FSE-BP50 users can switch seamlessly between FSE-TCVR-50-IP antennas over very large areas. The Eclipse array-based system can be expanded to meet the demands of the largest productions.

Scaling the system

FSE-BP50 beltpacks can be combined with FSII-BP19 and FSII-BP24 within a single system, increasing the number of beltpacks operating simultaneously. Eclipse supports 64 FSE-BP50 beltpacks on a single E-IPA-HX IP card, but a system built on multiple E-IPA cards within a single Eclipse HX frame is capable of supporting up to 200 beltpacks.

Durability

The IP54 rating makes the FSE-BP50 suitable for wet and dusty environments making it an ideal choice for outdoor productions. Rubber housing elements give the unit a better grip and protect it from harsh working conditions.

Battery

BAT80 lithium-ion battery, provides more than 12 hours of use. Inside the beltpack is a USB-C port (cable included) for charging or continuous power. The BAT80 can also be charged by an AC80 charger.
