This series includes cables for building automation with PVC or LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jackets. Van Damme Smart Control cables are primarily designed to work with popular automation control systems found in residential and office environments. These systems use shielded twisted-pair cable with two additional conductors for transmitting direct current (DC), used, for example, to power remote, programmable touch panels.
