\nThe SCM25A Pro Mk2 is actively driven by a 3-channel Class A\/B amplifier mounted in the rear of the cabinet. Each driver has its own dedicated power amplifier. Audio input is realized on a 3-pin female XLR socket mounted on the rear panel, while power is an IEC mains socket. The user can adjust the input sensitivity and lower band boost. The Linkwitz-Riley fourth-order crossovers and all-pass filters used optimize phase response at the dividing points, improving tonal accuracy, stereo imaging and both on- and off-axis frequency response. The SCM25 listening monitors use FET limiters to reduce hard-clipping. Power on and active limiter are indicated by a two-color LED on the front panel.
