<\/p>\nEXBOX.MD is a Dante \/ MADI converter combining Dante and MADI (AES10) audio network technology from Audinate. Equipped with three MADI ports and four network ports, it offers simple conversion of 64 audio channels between MADI and Dante.<\/p>\n
The compact size of the popular EXBOX series (1\/3 of 19\u201d), combined with a rugged chassis and redundant power supplies, makes the EXBOX.MD ideal for concert tours, broadcast trucks, and studio applications.<\/p>\n

\nFastSRC\u2122<\/a> is a low-latency, switchable sample rate converter for Dante I\/O and provides seamless exchange between MADI and Dante I\/O when the two sources are out of sync.<\/p>\n
\nEnhanced Automatic Redundancy Switching\u2122 is a system that prevents output signal interruption. It uses proven technology BLDS\u2122<\/a> or triggering with a reference signal. The logic monitors the status of the trigger signal on the audio network or MADI inputs. \nThe four network ports are connected to an internal switch and provide the ability to use Dante redundancy mode (Primary Secondary), while more EXBOX.MD or other Dante devices can be connected directly in switching mode to increase the number of channels.<\/p>\n
\nEXBOX.MD can be controlled by Audinate's remote \u201eDante Controller\u201d software and is ready to operate in \u201eDante Domain Manager\u201d mode. \nThe device can be powered by up to two external power supplies, as well as PoE (Power over Ethernet).<\/p>\n
