PRODIGY.MC is a modular audio converter designed to meet the needs of many types of events such as concerts, recordings, TV and radio broadcasts, studio and broadcast truck audio installations. Thanks to its modular design and scalable licenses, PRODIGY.MC, can be configured to customer requirements, guaranteeing budget savings and flexibility for different projects.

Modular approach, maximum flexibility

The Rear I/O Panel has eight local slots for analog linear, microphone input and AES3 input and output modules. Each PRODIGY.MC module is equipped with eight channels, so the unit provides up to 64 local inputs and outputs. In addition, the Prodigy.MC is equipped with two MADI slots and one slot for AoIP network cards. The MADI slots can be equipped with BNC, optical SC and SFP modules, while the audio network card provides the ability to work with Dante, RAVENNA/AES67 or SoundGrid protocols. Channel capacity increases to 320 inputs and 324 outputs. Management of this number of channels is possible from the matrix.

Network audio formats and seamless collaboration capabilities

The network card modules are designed to work with a variety of audio formats to meet the current and future requirements of diverse applications.

The new RAVENNA module is compliant with AES67, ST 2110-30/31 and ST 2022-7 clasification.PRODIGY.MC is a member of the JT-NM Tested. It is listed in the catalog of SMPTE 2110-compliant devices.

Equipped with a Dante card, the device can be used to work with audio consoles or as an independent converter and routing system. The Waves Audio SoundGrid card provides extremely low latency and enables the use of Waves plug-ins. Combined with virtual sound cards on macOS® and Windows®, it provides multi-track recordings or virtual rehearsals on any DAW software.

Control is the key - local and remote access

Remote control with software globcon, GUI via a browser and a touch-sensitive front panel, provide outstanding ease of use. Globcon software offers full control over multiple devices on Mac/PC systems and comprehensive snapshot management with the option to assume parameter change range filters for each snapshot. Globcon also enables device management by assigning function triggers via triggers, e.g. from mobile devices via OSC or MIDI. Automatic control and management is also possible through the use of a GPIO connector. A USB port on the rear panel offers connections and control of legacy devices via a „globcon bridge.”.

Security and monitoring

Two headphone outputs provide local monitoring of any of the device's inputs and outputs. Two redundant power supplies ensure uninterruptible operation of the device, and an internal switch in the network module provides redundancy in the network domain.

The Dante module supports Dante redundancy, and the RAVENNA module offers ST 2022-7-compliant redundancy.
