DIRECTOUT PRODIGY.MP
DirectOut PRODIGY.MP
PRODIGY.MP is designed for many types of events such as concerts, recordings, TV and radio broadcasts, studio and broadcast truck audio installations, PRODIGY.MP offers any configuration of audio I/O modules, two audio network slots, DSP, SRC functions. Thanks to its modular design and scalable licenses, PRODIGY.MP, can be configured to customer requirements, guaranteeing budget savings and flexibility for various projects.

Modular approach, maximum flexibility
The rear I/O panel has four local slots for analog line input and output modules, microphone input and AES3. Each PRODIGY.MP module is equipped with eight channels, so the unit provides up to 32 local inputs and outputs. In addition, the Prodigy.MP is equipped with two MADI slots and two slots for network cards. The MADI slots can be equipped with BNC, optical SC and SFP modules, while the audio network cards provide the ability to work with Dante, RAVENNA/AES67 or SoundGrid protocols. Channel capacity increases to 416 inputs and 420 outputs. Management of this number of channels is possible from an internal matrix.

DSP, SRC & Sync management
The FPGA-based low-latency processor offers mixing matrices(MatMix) , summing buses (Summing Busses) and channels (Flex-Channels) equipped with equalizers (FIR and IIR filters), dynamics, delay and insertion points (external), allowing external devices to be included in the signal path. Flex-Channels, can be configured as input/pre fader or as output/post fader. The Time-Adjust function ensures phase compatibility of all audio channels.
The internal DSP can be synchronized with Word Clock or video input, any network/digital input, or the device's internal clock.
Sample rate converters on AES inputs and FastSRC™ on MADI inputs/outputs and network audio inputs/outputs enable simultaneous conversion of media, formats and sample rates, as well as full routing at up to 192 kHz.

Network audio formats and seamless collaboration capabilities
PRODIGY.MP can simultaneously support up to two network audio modules - these modules support different formats and allow them to work together seamlessly. The new RAVENNA module is compliant with AES67, ST 2110-30/31 and all ST 2022-7 classifications.Being a participant in the program JT-NM Tested, PRODIGY RAV.IO can be found in the directory JT-NM Tested Catalog as a module compliant with SMPTE 2110 standards. Equipped with a Dante card, the device can be used to work with audio consoles or as an independent SRC converter, DSP processor and routing system. The Waves Audio SoundGrid card provides extremely low latency and enables the use of Waves plug-ins. In combination with virtual sound cards on macOS® and Windows®, it provides multi-track recordings and virtual rehearsals on any DAW software.

Control is the key - local and remote access
Control of the device is possible with the help of software globcon, using a browser and touchscreen front end, provides extreme ease of use. Globcon software, which runs on Mac/PC systems, offers full control over multiple devices including comprehensive snapshot management with the option to assume parameter change range filters for each snapshot. Globcon also enables device management by assigning function triggers via triggers, e.g. from mobile devices via OSC or MIDI. Automatic control and management is also possible through the use of a GPIO connector. A USB port on the rear panel offers connections and control of legacy devices via a „globcon bridge.” The software offers control of the Smaart measurement software (Rational Acoustics) via API.

Security and monitoring
Two headphone outputs provide local monitoring of any of the device's inputs and outputs. Two redundant power supplies ensure uninterruptible operation of the device, and an internal switch in the network module provides redundancy in the network domain.
The Dante module can operate with Dante redundancy, while the RAVENNA module offers ST 2022-7-compliant redundancy.
EARS™ (Enhanced Automatic Redundancy Switching) is available in several input combinations. EARS is a system that prevents output signal interruption. It uses proven BLDS ™ technology, or triggered switching by a pilot tone.
Generator BLDS™ can be assigned as a virtual source in the matrix to provide call monitoring with automatic switching of the source in case of failure.
An internal LTC reader displays the incoming timecode on a touchscreen or via globcon software. The LTC signal can be used as a trigger.
