DirectOut ACE

A compact audio system that fits in a backpack

Compact audio platform DirectOut ACE is designed to seamlessly adapt to a wide range of pro audio applications—from playback and sound system management to fully customized processing systems—combining top-tier performance, intelligent redundancy, and versatile connectivity in a portable, travel-ready enclosure. At the heart of ACE are the dedicated ACE modes: globcon interfaces designed specifically for particular applications in professional audio, as well as a fully open environment for designing custom processing chains. Three modes are available:

• PA Mode - Kompletne rozwiązanie procesora głośnikowego zapewniające natychmiastowy dostęp do korektora, procesorów dynamiki, efektów opóźnienia oraz natywnej integracji z oprogramowaniem Smaart®, wraz z wstępnie skonfigurowanym routingiem sygnałów i redundantnym zarządzaniem wejściami, przeznaczone do zastosowań w nagłośnieniu i strojenia systemów.
• PRODIGY Mode - Pełny dostęp do tego samego interfejsu globcon, co w seriach PRODIGY i MAVEN, offering total freedom to design custom processing tracks using advanced routing, mixing, summing, snapshots and redundancy features.

Users select their preferred ACE mode during activation and can freely switch between modes as their needs change, expanding functionality with additional perpetual licenses. ACE supports MADI, Audio over IP (native Dante® or Milan versions), AES3, and high-quality analog inputs/outputs. To simplify system configuration and design, ACE users have access to Ask.DirectOut, DirectOut’s proprietary AI-powered support service, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Front panel:

• Headphone outputs: Four 6.3 mm jacks and one 3.5 mm jack with an alternative assignment for Headphones 1, providing flexible monitoring options for every workflow.
• MENU button: A dedicated button that provides access to the system's main menu.
• BACK button: A navigation button used to return to the previous menu level.
• Touchscreen: A high-resolution touchscreen that provides fast, intuitive operation, real-time monitoring, and smooth menu navigation.
• CONTROL Encoder: Rotary encoder with a push-button function for precise value adjustment and confirmation.
• Power Status LEDs: Visual indication of the operating status of Power Supply 1 and Power Supply 2.

Rear panel:

• Redundant USB-C power inputs: Two USB-C connectors with locking screws, enabling redundant power supply or failover power to ensure maximum reliability.
• USB ports: Transmitting data to the optional device control and configuration unit.
• MGMT Ethernet Port: Web interface for remote management and control.
• Audio network interface: Two RJ45 ports supporting Dante or AVB/Milan protocols with 64 channels at a sampling rate of 48 kHz.
• MADI SFP Inputs/Outputs: Four SFP MADI ports providing up to 64 input and output channels per port at a sample rate of 48 kHz, fully compatible with USB.MADI.
• WORD CLOCK BNC Inputs/Outputs: A professional clock interface that ensures reliable synchronization and crystal-clear sound.
• GPIO Control Interface: DSUB 9 connector for flexible integration with external control and automation systems.
• DSUB microphone/line inputs/outputs: Four high-quality microphone and line-level input and output channels with top-of-the-line AD/DA conversion.
• AES3 DSUB Inputs/Outputs: Four channels of digital AES3 inputs and outputs with SRC.
