Van Damme steel cable drums from the VDHT series are available with side discs with a diameter of 300 mm, 380 mm and 460 mm. The design is based on steel discs mounted on a sturdy steel-tube frame. The large core diameter ensures that the minimum bending radius for most cables remains unaffected, and panel connectors can be easily mounted on the removable front disc or a special plastic plate. The VDHT380 and VDHT460 models are also compatible with the dedicated Van Damme cable flange (see the section: Van Damme Rubber Reels), which allows for the secure attachment and routing of cable „tails” from the reel core.
