TAKE CONTROL!

HCONTROL.8 is a remote controller with eight faders, designed for the PRODIGY series. It provides all the flexibility of a „globcon controller” in the form of a compact controller.

It can be used for mixing and monitoring together with the PRODIGY.MP multifunction processor or PRODIGY.MC modular converter - a mobile and easily transportable solution. You can also combine the control of several DirectOut devices on a single hardware interface.

Mapping
Provides mapping of any audio channels and device functions. Assign FlexChannels, groups and matrix mixers to 12 layers and recall them easily with (blue) buttons. You can create association of custom globcon display layouts with individual layers. The 12 function buttons (pink) can be freely assigned to perform device functions, such as recalling snapshots or triggering GPIOs on the device.

FlexFaders
Motorized 100 mm faders allow HCONTROL.8 to receive data from PRODIGY.MP, displaying fader and level meter status information in a customized and fully integrated way. Their behavior adapts to the type of channel that is assigned to them. For example, when MatMix masters are assigned to attenuators, the SPILL function is available. With the SPILL button, all master sources become available for instant level mixing, while the pan encoders are used for panning within the stereo master.

Application
Applications vary between fixed installations, where one PRODIGY.MP is controlled by several HCONTROL.8s throughout the conference suite, and remote productions, where several PRODIGY.MPs in different locations are remotely controlled by only one HCONTROL.8.
