With SSL 360°, you can now control every plug-in using a controller UC1

Latest Update SSL 360° Link software, Version 1.7 includes, among other things, a groundbreaking new plug-in that allows UC1 to control any third-party plug-in.

Following a preview presentation at The NAMM Show 2024, Solid State Logic officially unveiled the new SSL 360° Link plug-in, a powerful new software tool that allows users to control any third-party plug-in via the UC1 interface. Using 360° Link, music producers and engineers can access any plugin within the SSL 360° environment and its hybrid „virtual console” workflow. Whether it’s a reverb, a parametric equalizer, or a guitar amp simulator—the UC1 can now control them all.

„A ”hybrid” combination of hardware and software in a plug-in controller UC1 The SSL 360° software is the result of decades of experience in console design. The result is a device in which every parameter of the highly regarded SSL 4K E, 4K B, Channel Strip 2, and Bus Compressor 2 plug-ins has its own physical controller. Now, with the introduction of the SSL 360° Link plugin, UC1 users have even greater capabilities, gaining access to a much wider range of plugins and ensuring an almost infinite array of creative options for music production and mixing.

„Integrating control over third-party plug-ins and bringing them into the SSL 360° ecosystem has always been one of our goals,” commented Andy Jackson, Studio Product Manager at Solid State Logic. „With the launch of SSL 360° Link, producers and engineers can now enhance their UC1 by controlling any plug-in from the interface, all without leaving the SSL 360° „virtual console”—it’s a very powerful addition. Best of all, SSL 360° is free to download and is available now.”.
